People with substance and alcohol abuse issues come in all shapes, sizes, races, ethnicities and beliefs... AA is still the most successful program world-wide that helps people who want to stop drinking and need the support of others. I'm sure that people who have tried multiple groups focusing on addictions would have those they prefer...

Guest
Hello Kitty, Yes I've heard of Reformers Unanimous. Sunday I went to the church which holds the meetings on Wednesday eveings. I do plan on going. I've tried just about everything under the sun(not Son), and have always come out more of a mess than when I began...and that's including the 12 steps of AA! I'm hopeful that things are going to change in this respect. More so in how I now approach my own...addictions. I'm glad you asked about this. Perhaps I needed a reminder today of what road I'm on. Thank you, Randal
