How tolerant. (Gag, wretch) I'm willing to bet that if that same Baptist church was out witnessing for the Lord in their neighborhood, we'd have never heard a thing about it. And many, many churches are also ordaining open homosexuals, preaching the feel good/prosperity/all roads lead to heaven gospel, inviting speakers from other religions to the pulpits, allowing those into the church who are living in open unrepentant sin, accepting the "right" of women to have abortions, rejecting the reality of a hell, etc., etc. "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:" 2 Timothy 3:5 "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Kwanzaa is a traditional African celebration, not a religious event. It's like we celebrate the 4th of July or Veteran's day in addition to Christmas and Easter. It has a whole lot to do with who founded it. Christmas honors the birth of the Messiah. Hannukah honors the Lord of the Temple and the miracle of the Oil. The very God of the Bible is celebrated. Kwanzaa was created by a Black Nationalist/Socialist Leader who was a craven criminal and race seperationist. It lifts up man and his community celebrating this pagan secular holiday has more to do with Socialism and Secularism than Pan African paganism. Either way, what you are saying is that we should celebrate May Day because it's a good idea whether it was Stalin's communistic utopia ideals that founded it or not. This so called holiday just isn't important...nor is the person who invented it. I'm more interested in the observance of Christmas and Easter and HOW those holidays are observed.
