If I lived in Australia I'd constantly be on the lookout for roving bands of rogue koalas.

Drop bear =koala(some Aussie larrikins tell tourists that koalas drop out of trees onto you.. )Might have even got a mention in Crocodile Dundee. And a tucker bag =bag for food that swagmen(bushmen) carried. So you're saying bushmen (men who lived in a nomadic lifestyle by hunting/gathering in the Australian outback?) may have indeed slain drop bears (koalas) put them into their tucker bag (food pouch) and ingested them in times of dire need? Don't they just eat tree leaves? Maybe if you captured them and corn fed them first.... No..but i suspect a few drop bears have landed in the tucker bag.
