If McCain was God's choice, he'd be sitting in the Oval Office. Hitler was God's choice? By your logic, he must have been. In theology, there is the "perfect" and the "permissive" will of God. Because God permits something, does not mean that was His ideal plan. What are the consequenses of Hitlers actions? Israel became a nation in 1948. You don't think God had a hand in that?
