I am not surprised, but this only means the controversy will continue, because until I see proof Obama was born in Hawaii, I won't fully accept him as legitimate. I would imagine the Supreme Court justices were concerned about the effects of finding out the President is not qualified to serve, and the chaos it would bring, but those of us who believe in following the Constitution will never let this go, even after he leaves office. We will continue to fight to see whether or not Obama was born in Hawaii, and if it is 10 years from now that we find out he was not, then we will fight to see anything he signed into law reversed. We need some closure, and that won't happen till we see the long form birth certificate.

It may take a couple of years but it will be in the news that the man never was an official citizen and was born in another nation. Folks will merely sleep on and sweep it under the rug as no big deal as well.

No one is denying that. I've actually never personally seen any evidence that he is an American citizen though, have you? We in America have a system of Laws and the problem is that when those Laws are ignored we cease to be a people Governed by the rule of Law and that's bad. Obama has fought in court to prevent his birth certificate from being seen. That is pretty strange behavior for someone with nothing to hide. The reason this continues to be an issue is because of Obama, and he could end the controversy today if he would simply come forward with his long form birth certificate, unless that is, he wasn't born in this country?
