If our founders thought the way YOU do, we would still be subjects of the Crown. We have a nation that is truly ours and ours alone. The values that won us our independence contradict the values of the left. And that is the bottom line. Many people from other countries don't understand the American mind-set. Let me put it this way...."B.E., and all others who don't actually live here and presume to know what's best for us, you don't know what or who you're talking about so, please, feel free to comment.....but leave off the preaching. it's presumptuous and annoying and we aren't ever going to heed your advice anyway." That's what is so wonderful about our country, we don't take advice from other countries. Because the USA forged it's own ways and it is the ways that no other country has experienced, so how could anyone else (accept God) give us advice? Also what is nice about our country is that we can debate, argue and fight each other like cats an dogs, but when an outside source attacks us, we come together as one to defend our freedoms. Yes we may be a strange family, but never the less, we are a family of Americans.

Sometimes, someone less balanced might act on that, as has happened in the past. We should be treating others as we wish to be treated, rather than calling each other Nazi Socialist Communist Anarchist Fascists who hate America. I've been guilty of taking the low road myself on these boards, and it's not productive. We're all brothers and sisters in Christ, and sometimes, I think we forget that. I agree with you about the acting in Christian love part. That is why I am choosing now not to continue debating this point with you. It would be like me defending the Ravens from derogatory remarks by a Steelers fan. ( See here to understand what I'm talking about )

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
