For we know, "the most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is My footstool: what House will ye build Me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?" (Acts 7:48-49) Yet somehow we've come to think that the Lord Jesus is going to come and live in a natural temple built by men for a thousand years. Ezekiel's temple is a physical temple, the references to the day and night in the chpt cannot be a heavenly temple as there is no night or day in heaven. Malachi 3 starts out with Yeshua coming, 'But who can endure the day when He comes?' the day of His return, where we read 'and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple' where He will judge from. Where does Yeshua reign from when He rules with a rod of iron? Where will He be when the nations come to Jerusalem to learn from Him if not an earthly throne? Real Big House And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. Isaiah 66:20 Real Happy Israel Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward. Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. Isaiah 52:6-13 Real Resurrected LORD Jesus As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
