A telephone conversation between President Obama and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday was unusually tense, a senior Obama administration official confirmed to Fox News.

As usual, blame the U.S. I've got a newsflash for the leaders in that region; it's your neighborhood, you need to police it. Of course King Abdullah is upset; he and Mubarak are thugs of a feather. They make no sense; in one sentence they say the U.S. should stay out of it and, in the next, yell about Washington 'handling' things the wrong way.

IMO, Mubarak has already been removed and the Egyptian military is in control. I also believe they are providing him with a face-saving exit, which is a good thing. There's nothing to be gained by humiliating him or allowing harm to come to him.

Why do you think this?

They announced on Fox this morning that Israeli intelligence says (through anonymous sources) that Mubarak is no longer in Cairo; he has moved, in secrecy, to a location in Sh'arm el Sheik. I believe he has to get out of Egypt soon, for his and his family's safety.

Because he's rather unpopular and nobody likes a loser.

It seems that Charles Krauthammer agrees with me; he just said he believes the military 'invited' Mubarak to leave Cairo early this morning. This is a coup and I guess we all knew it was coming.

Abdullah will blame the US, cause he might be next to be removed

There was a rumour yesterday that Abdullah had died, it was only the news of this testy phone call that scotched them, so perhaps he should be grateful to Obama .

You may very well be right about that; Saudi Arabia is one of the most totalitarian ruled countries on earth.
