Of course King Abdullah is upset; he and Mubarak are thugs of a feather. They make no sense; in one sentence they say the U.S. should stay out of it and, in the next, yell about Washington 'handling' things the wrong way. IMO, Mubarak has already been removed and the Egyptian military is in control. I also believe they are providing him with a face-saving exit, which is a good thing. There's nothing to be gained by humiliating him or allowing harm to come to him.

Why do you think this? They announced on Fox this morning that Israeli intelligence says (through anonymous sources) that Mubarak is no longer in Cairo; he has moved, in secrecy, to a location in Sh'arm el Sheik. I believe he has to get out of Egypt soon, for his and his family's safety.

It seems that Charles Krauthammer agrees with me; he just said he believes the military 'invited' Mubarak to leave Cairo early this morning. This is a coup and I guess we all knew it was coming.
