[Slippery Slope]

Hi, I currently consider myself Agnostic and am searching for information. I hope this is a good place to ask questions and maybe even despute things pertaining to religion and Christianity. I was banned from the Christians Unite for after asking only 2 questions. They have not given me a very good impression of Christianity and infact have helped confirm my initial feelings about Christianity. I am not an Aethiest nor trolling for trouble. I am simply questioning... I will ask those same 2 questions here.

BTW, I was raised Catholic and went to a Catholic school until age 13 (yup I was an Altar boy during those years) so I have a very good background in Christianity.

Anyway, I look forward to figuring out if God, Jesus, the Bible and religion as a whole is true/worthy/exists.

They have not given me a very good impression of Christianity...

Don't judge the Christ by the Christians we just don't cut the mustard.

This may make you immune to Christianity then. We shall see what damage they did you.

I believe he is right. I believe rational knowledge permeates the scriptures.

Anyway, I look forward to figuring out if God, Jesus, the Bible and religion as a whole is true/worthy/exists.

Rom 10:6-9 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, `Who will ascend into heaven?' " (that is, to bring Christ down) "or `Who will descend into the deep?' " (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

How's that for rationality. It says you do not need to go looking for Him, He is not a breath away. You should always start here if you really seek the truth. Ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. If He is there and deigns to answer you that's everybodies gain. If not what have you lost?
