WI judge declares that individuals have no fundamental right to own cows, drink raw milk

Thursday, September 29, 2011 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer

(NaturalNews) After being petitioned for clarification about his decision in a recent legal case involving individuals freedom to consume raw milk and own "shares" of dairy cows, Judge Patrick J. Fiedler vehemently declared that individuals "do not have a fundamental right to consume the foods of their choice," and essentially reiterated his state's position that raw milk is simply off limits.

<snip>

And they got their answer. According to a recent report by The Complete Patient, Judge Fiedler believes that no individual has a "fundamental right" to consume any food without government permission. Even though the Ninth Amendment to the US Constitution establishes that the government has no business interfering in the affairs of individuals outside of what has been specifically enumerated to it, which, of course, includes freedom of food choice, Judge Fiedler apparently believes otherwise.

To summarize Judge Fiedler's response, which was obviously written in an arrogant and condescending tone, individuals have no fundamental right to own or use dairy cows, to consume the milk from their own cows, to board their cows off their own property, or even to produce and consume the foods of their own choice, period.

Some folks will be okay with this. The Government can tell you when to go to the Doctor, who you can see, and now even what you can eat. If it affects the general welfare and supercedes the individuals rights, more power to it.:blink:

This is called Socialism and it is also collective Salvation run amock. You're not smart enough to even eat right anymore. It's downright sad.;)

Cows, like everything else, belong to God and therefore drinking raw milk is possible since the cows are not ours.

Blessings

Well, this judge probably knows a good deal about cows. Certainly he's from a farm, for he is clearly the North end of South bound horse............

IMO

He's Milking His Position

For All It's Worth While Lording It

Over All God's Creatures Both Great And Small

Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cutteth him out windows; and it is cieled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? saith the LORD.

But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it. Jeremiah 22:13-17

God Knows

I'll have to disagree with you on that one, Its communism. Government controls everything!

I now live in Norway, and most Norwegians do not understand why many Americans hate anything to do with socialism. Then I tell them what our "Socialistic" leaders say and do under the name of socialism and they state, "That is communism, not socialism" You see in Norway they have a concept of socialism of, "If I scratch my neighbors back, when I have an itch they'll scratch mine." and that is how they approach all social issues.

They do not mind the government overseeing programs like healthcare, as long as they make it so everyone is helping everyone else. However the government here does not try to legislate, cows or happy meals, the Norwegians would riot over such behavior.

The Norwegians have a good balance of social programs and open capitalism, and it seems to work well. Of course this also works because Norway as a country spends less then it makes and has a "emergency" found of an equivalent of 500 billion USD.

To be sure there are those here that are pushing for more government control but the people will not have it.
