Of course Jesus was far and above any Pharisee, Sadducee, Sea of Galilee, or sand flea! This REALLY has nothing to do with race....and I'm not making it up?!?!! there is a difference in philosophical thought from people with an hebraic mindset (jew or gentile) and those with a hellenistic mindset (jew or gentile) It's just a fact, man. Not all Jews have the mind of Chist. Infact most Jews resent Christ and his teachings. There are a lot Godly Jewish examples such as the apostles and Paul but then again there are a lot godly gentile examples too. So to say that Jews think better then Gentiles is racist remark. Correct if I am wrong but it was the Pharisees that did evey thing for show. They are the one that honored God with there lips but their heart was far from him. They were the white washed tombs. God bless, Who said anything about "becoming Hebraic?" Again, you miss the point. You are blinded because you want so desparately to find a way to accuse us of hating Gentiles. No one is saying that Jews think better than Gentiles. You are twisting things and pulling things out of thin air. The point is that the Bible is written Hebraically, and if you want to understand many of the subtle nuances it contains then you have to be familiar with Hebrew thought patterns. There somethings in Hebrew that Greek simply cannot communicate. There things in English that do not make sense in Chinese. I remember years ago when Pepsi was introduced to China. The slogan at the time was, "Pepsi: Choice of a new generation." Problem was, that slogan came across in Chinese as, "Pepsi will raise your ancestors from the dead." There are lingusitic barriers, and differences in mindsets from one culture to another. That does not make one culture or mindset better than another, it simply means that to completely comprehend the nuances, and various shades of meaning within a particular language, you must be familiar with the culture and environs where that language is found. You are trying to create an issue where an issue does not exist. You are trying to cast my words in a false light. Of course, no one else is foolish enough to join you, as you are the only one making these irrational rants and accusations concerning racism. God bless, You are assuming that the ones who rejected him did it out of a lack of understanding. Remember when his detractors committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? They knew what they were doing. Blasphemy is not done in ignorance. You cannot blaspheme God accidentally. It is a willful act of rebellion in the full knowledge of the truth. Blasphemy is rooted in willful unbelief. That is what makes what they did so bad. They knew it was the Holy Spirit working through Him, and they called the Holy Spirit by the name of the prince of demons, according to Mark 3. These men were not concerned with the welfare of the people under their care. Some of them, especially among the Sadducees were Roman puppets. Lack of understanding was not their motiviation for rejecting him. They postions of power granted them by the Romans, and the presence of the Messiah was exactly what they did NOT want.
