In the same manner that S&G was destroyed, the angels who fell are also going to be destroyed. Doesn't mean anything more than that. - All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine... for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness... (2 Timothy 3:16) - Every single word... - Even the "Even as" in Jude 1:7. Jude 1 6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. - Would you agree that "all" scripture is given by inspiration of God? Jude 1 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 'Even as' Sodom and Gomorrha... (relating the Angels which kept not their first estate to Sodom and Gomorrha, right? - would "even as" be relating the angels to Sodom and Gomorrha? is the "even as" given by inspiration of God?) ...and the cities about them in like manner... The cities about Sodom and Gomorrha did like manner as Sodom and Gomorrha... ...giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh... Thayer defines the Greek word translated into english "strange" as "one not of the same nature, form, class, kind, different" ...are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. The devil's angels will suffer eternal fire... Matthew 25:41 --- Would you say that what Jude 1:6-7 is saying is... that the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day... Matthew 25:41 states that that they (the angels) will suffer eternal fire... and then gives examples of the same Sodom and Gomorrha and the cities about them doing the same thing in going after strange flesh (flesh not of the same nature, form, class, kind, or that is different - Thayer) how they are set forth for an example... ...suffering the vengeance of eternal fire... "...the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire..." Genesis 19:24. You didn't answer my question about the Gospel of Thomas. Do you believe women need to become men in the resurrection in order to be saved? The Gospel of Thomas... hmm... Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (were the female evil angels created female? or did this happen when there was iniquity found in Satan? Ezekiel 28:12-19) Seeing as Angels don't die, and if the female evil angels were created female angels... Would this indicate that women are resurrected into female bodies? - Another question arises... are we raised with different bodies than the angels... - It does state that: Hebrews 2:5 unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. Trying to figure out how it says "in Christ" all shall be made alive... 1 Corinthians 15:22 And how that "[Christ] shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body" Philippians 3:21 - Seeing that Christ was a man in the flesh... with what body do the women get resurrected in? - Or is this answer found in scripture... (Would 1 John 3:2 indicate this? 1 John 3:2 - "now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be") - I was trying to relate how that if there are female evil angels... and if they were created female good angels... then this would indicate that there is a distinction in angels between male and female. - A question then arises out of this... are we raised with bodies that are like the angels? or superior to them? I would like to see scripture about female angels outside of the vision in Zech 5. Visions are not reality. They have meanings that relate to reality, but they are not reality in and of themselves. Isnt' that a no brainer?? Why are you making this so difficult??? We are raised incorruptable. Of course women will raised as women... Angels are genderless and you cannot compare angels to resurrected human beings. We will not marry, but neither are we genderless. So there is no need for confusion. Luke 20:34-36 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Jesus indicates that they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. - So, no we will not need to marry and have children. - Death will be destroyed, 1 Corinthians 15:26 - And [they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead] cannot die anymore.
