When I sleep at night, I play my audio Bible. I sometimes wake up to certain verses that sort of "quicken" in my spirit. Even when I take nerve medicine to help me sleep, I still wake up to these verses. Here are some of the verses (that are similar) that I have woken up to recently:

Psalm 94:23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

Proverbs 5:22-23 His own iniquities shall entrap the wicked himself, and he shall be caught with the cords of his sins. He shall die for lack of instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

This concerns me because the verses are similar in context. I don't know if God considers me wicked, or if the enemy is messing with me. Even if the enemy is messing with me, it couldn't happen unless God allows it to happen, so I don't understand.

I have also been tired/depressed lately and seem to sleep more during the day. Then I heard the verses in Proverbs 6:4-11.

I feel sort of condemned when this happens and it makes me almost not want to play my audio Bible. Has this happened to anyone else?

Look In ~ See Sin

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:5-10

Look Up - See Redemption

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Colossians 3:10-17

Greetings Biscuit,

I hope this will help you.

When a scripture sit out for me...I go back up and read and see what is happening and soon find

what its applying to me.

New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 94

11 The Lord knows all human plans;

he knows that they are futile.

Anything that man plans in his own thoughts or power is useless.

12 Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,

the one you teach from your law;

Its better for God to discipline you..than to wander around in sin.

13 You grant them relief from days of trouble,

till a pit is dug for the wicked.

Biscuit, because your trust is in the Lord... He is protecting you and guiding you...

Your faith is strengthen..by personal fellowship, prayer and reading the word of God.

The enemy will fall into the pit that he has set for you...because the favor of God is upon you.

14 For the Lord will not reject his people;

he will never forsake his inheritance.

15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,

and all the upright in heart will follow it.

God knows your heart...He knows your desire to serve Him and to live a saved life.

Therefore He will keep you and bring many of your desire to past. The more you seek God...

the more wisdom, understanding and everything else needed to live a victorious life will fall into place.

16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?

Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?

17 Unless the Lord had given me help,

I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.

God will provide all you need during the times of trouble.

You are His child.

18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,”

your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.

19 When anxiety was great within me,

your consolation brought me joy.

22 But the Lord has become my fortress,

and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.

23 He will repay them for their sins

and destroy them for their wickedness;

the Lord our God will destroy them.

Biscuit...since you are a child of the Most High God...

Make 18-23... a proclamation and speak it to the enemy when he tries to plant a seed of fear or anything

negative into your life.

Joyful

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
