I have crocodiles living about 100 yards from my house, Hippo's wonder the streets and in some gardens at night, and recently two French tourists saw two leopard not 50 yards from my house. But I live in a game reserve.... This is not the norm, as people who do not know Africa think. The built up areas, yes we do have them, and in Durban, the biggest Port City in Africa with over 4 million inhabitants, the most wildlife you are going to see is your neighbors dog.
