notice the rod of iron?  Only Jesus is said to rule with a rod of iron

"Only Jesus is said to rule with a rod of iron."

As has been pointed out, He does not rule with

a wet noodle.

Are you sure of your claim?  Have you done the concordance check?

Not following you with the "wet noodle" business.

Yes, I'm sure.

Concordance?  No.  I haven't used a ... concordance ... in quite some time.  I tend to allow SCRIPTURES to interpret SCRIPTURES (though I have much more powerful tools to use that mere concordances at my disposal).  Here, let me share with you why I present it that way:

Consider Psalm 2

Read it carefully.  Notice that it is a TRIUNE PASSAGE.

Observe that the Father talks about the Son - "MY Son"

Observe how the Son talks about Himself - "ME"

Observe how the Spirit talks about the Son - "THE Son" (not 'my' son)

Basically, in one section you see the text talking about "MY Son" ... which is the Father.  Then you see the text talking about "ME" ... which is the Son speaking of Himself.  Then you see the text talking about "THE Son" ... which is the Spirit.  Even Jesus said that the Comforter comes to glorify the Son, not Himself, and the same thing is shown in Psalm 2.

So, when you see "kiss the Son" in the Psalms, it means "worship the son".  How do I know?  Well ... this is the result of deeper study.  The Hebrew word for "kiss" in ancient times typically could mean worship, sort of like how you kiss a king's ring or kiss the feet of a ruler.  In doing so, you are showing fealty and submissiveness ... even admitting defeat.

Now, since I've established that Psalm 2 is talking about the MESSIAH, and not king David, we clearly see that the Messiah rules the nations with an iron scepter.  David has never ruled the earth, nor with an iron scepter.  Revelation tends to confirm this:

Rev 2:27 And He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

So, both the Psalms and Revelation show that it is the Messiah who rules the nations with a rod of iron.

Well said the Messiah and the saints rule with the rod of Iron

Another thing to consider is that the Church never gave birth to Christ but instead, he brought about the Church. The woman is Israel and the 12 stars are the 12 tribes of Israel. The pains of child birth are the sufferings of Israel before Jesus Christ (Yeshua HarMashiach) arrives.

... it's Ha Mashiach

Not "har"   :mgcheerful:

"the"

We say "Jesus Christ" in English as if it is His first and last name.  But, correctly written in English, it is "Jesus THE Christ".  In Hebrew (English rendition), it is Y'shua haMashiach.

But, concerning your post.  I haven't looked at Revelation in a good while now, but I tend to agree with you because out of Israel are the 12 TRIBES.  Some scholars believe that its the 12 DISCIPLES.  I disagree in the sense that the 12 DISCIPLES, while they are Jews out of Israel, of of Christ ... not Jacob.  In addition, since the Church is Raptured, the main focus of those times will be the Jews of whom Satan tries to annihilate.

However, in Revelation, we see TWENTY FOUR elders.  12 + 12 = 24.

12 tribes + 12 disciples

The Messiah is the MIDDLE of everything!  It's ALL about Jesus.

cornerstone

old lady ~ young girl

etc, etc, etc

HE is the main focus.

I think when people start focusing on other things, including Israel or the Church, they miss the bigger picture of the Word of God.

What did Eve represent ?

Why did Adam say bones of my bones and flesh of my flesh ?

How are my supposed to know?

Eve represented the church note this very carefully

Genesis 2:23-25

King James Version (KJV)

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed

Ephesians 5:24-31

King James Version (KJV)

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbandslove your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

All the saints will rule with a rod of iron which is the word of God

Psalm 149:5-9

King James Version (KJV)

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

That is incorrect.

ONLY the Messiah is said to rule with a rod of iron.

See it in Psalm 2 and again in Revelation 2.

Read what you posted carefully.

To BIND (tie them up) the kings with chains, and to BIND their nobles with FETTERS (chains) of iron.

This passage of Scripture says nothing about RULING with a ROD of iron, but talks about people being TIED UP with strong things.

Hope that helps.

 God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and He opened his side and created Eve to be his wife.  That was done as a shadow of Christ and His Bride.  Paul understood the prophetic significance of that act – referring to Jesus as the final Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45, Romans 5:14).  Jesus’ death correlates to the deep sleep of Adam.

 Jesus’ side was opened – His life’s blood flowed out - making it possible for the Church [His Bride] to be formed (John 19:34).  Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.  Eve was the ideal helpmate for Adam, or as Genesis has it – an help meet for him…

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”  (Genesis 2:20-24)  In the same way, Jesus Christ foretold that He and His Bride would be one Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:44).

lets see if rod of iron is mentioned in this passage and if not does that mean that theses saints would not rule with a rod of iron ?

Matthew 25:21

His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servantthou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enterthou into the joy of thy lord.

Luke 19:17-19
King James Version (KJV)
17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

Does this mean that they would not rule with a rod of iron ? rod of iron  is not mentioned

Hope that helps ?
