People need water, I understand that, but some of these people are delinquent in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars. What is a bankrupt city supposed to do? If they have no money in their treasury, how are the going to supply clean water to their residents and businesses?

How many just don't have the money, and spend what they have on other things? the city is bankrupt so what are they to do? I've got my own problems.... Thank goodness I don't have to make that decision. Our little town has a pretty large number of homeless people that seem to get water from somewhere.... Maybe someone from the Detroit area should come down here and see how they manage it.

Turn on the water for only an hour a day so they can fill up their water buckets for daily needs. Of course that wont work either. The un could always step in and pay for the water those folks cant seem to pay for.
Guest shiloh357
Why is the UN involved in the first place? What authority does the UN have in this matter? This is an internal American affair. We don't answer to the UN.
Guest
Why is the UN involved in the first place? What authority does the UN have in this matter? This is an internal American affair. We don't answer to the UN. I Was Hoping That Out Of The Monies The U.S.A. Will Give Them, Thia Year The U.N. Would Pay All The Bills For The Water And All Of The City's Debit Present And Past And For All Of The Worker's Pensions Both The Full Funding Of Them And For Any Pension Checks Past Due Just To Repay The Citizens Of Detroit For All Their Tax Money Given Over The Years To The UN It Seems A Proper Thing To Due With The UN's USA Funds This Year You Think?
