This the first holiday season without him. My mother and I will go to Thanksgiving Service. Then later on we will go to my Grandmother's house for dinner. What is everyone else doing? Guest Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Quite Time With Carol And Son And Daughter-In-Law And Quite Time With 6 Year Old Grandson, Real Quite :24: ~ Carol Has The Lighted Christmas Tree Up But With No Ornaments And AJ The Grandson Goes Bonkers (Just Like His Dear Grandmother) Decorating It And Decorating It And When He Hits The Door He Does Not Even Stop To Eat So, His Mother Feeds Him Before She Will Let Him Out The Door, lol~! I hope your Thanksgiving was a happy one. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I pray God will bring you comfort and peace and show you His perfect love for you. I too have lost family members. 3 in the past 2 months. My dad was just released from the hospital after having surgery for cancer. He was hospitalized almost a month. At one point I thought I would lose him. I lost a brother. That hurt so bad. So I can understand what you must be feeling. There is no easy way to deal with grief. Its a very hard process. But with time your pain will ease. Just know there are others who share in your pain and care for your healing. I pray God wraps His arms around you and shows you His love for you. In Jesus's name.
