Hi Kan

Angels are spirit, not material.

Hebrews 1:7   And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

A spirit is invisible. We cannot see them, or touch them.

Material things can be seen and touched.

Material things perish.

Gods word is also spirit.

His Word gives life.

His Word was with him from the beginning, and came out of him.

He can send his Word whereever he wants to, and make it appear however he likes, because his Word is spirit.

He happened to later changed his Word into flesh.

That is the man we know Jesus Christ.

He is that same Word.

He became flesh, and after his resurrection, returned to spirit.

What ever he spoke, is God speaking.

No man can come to God through any other word,  only through Gods Word.

If we believe on his Son whom he sent, then we know there's no confusion which God we serve,

and he is that tree of life (spiritually speaking)

He's not a real tree, but his fruit, which is truth, gives life.

Thanks for that I agree with you, except my concept of spirit is that it is stronger than our matter.

Matter of which we are made is weaker than angels, which can break steel like it were straw, and God is even stronger than anything He has made. Creation is more like a hologram by comparison. Angels are intangible to us, only because our material is not as strong. But our lack of discernment and contact, does not make them a puff of mist that floats around. And neither is God a ghost.

The concept of spirit as a ghost comes from generations of man which have lost their intelligence about the unseen worlds.

But as far as the terms spirit and material are commonly used, I agree with what you are saying.

Hi Kan

Thank you for explaining that.

I agree with you..... not to be considered as ghosts, who float around doing nothing, or made of nothing, but created spirit. Intelligent created spirit creatures, made of a higher matter called spirit.

On the resurrection of the saints, we will be made like them out of the same material.  How exciting.

 God bless you.

God bless you too,

There are a few things that help to conclude this view of materialism, one of them is that the tree of life will be eaten from again, and that heaven will come down to earth and rest here.

So heaven is compatible with our world, just stronger and everlasting. So if we make a house or a bridge over some waters, it won't crumble with algae or diurnal temperatures.

Jesus said lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven where moths and rust don't corrupt.

The state of our new bodies is interesting too.

In I Corinthians 15:53,54, which you are familiar with, shows that the body we have now is not done away with, but incorporated into the new. The corruptible or weaker "must put on incorruption" the eternal. Even death is swallowed up by this new creation.

So God is honoring our old bodies and our experiences in this life, by which we became who we are, by which we were born, and were lost and suffered, for which He died. Emanuel - God with us.

But He raises up the dead out of their graves or out of the ocean, wherever they might have gone, and combines the old with the new, and the new totally encompasses and takes up the old. Nothing of us is left behind on earth - not even our old self, not even the dust in the grave. That way we can truly say we are who we are, and we will be "known as we are known" on earth, only in perfect health, youth and immortality.

The new body changes the old, but does not do away with it. Phil 3:21.

But we know that the renewal of the mind begins now. Col 3:10.

So also when the world is recreated - it will be done by the power of the same word which caused it to exist in the first place, that way everything is restored and glorified/improved, with authenticity.

In a ghost heaven as taught by satanic religions, spiritualists and pagans, there is a complete disconnection between heaven and earth altogether. But the Bible connects heaven with earth through the birth of Christ.

So every human being born, no matter how poor in health, God will not do away with them, and siphon a ghost out of them, but restore their little bodies in perfect health on the day of the resurrection, so that they can play and eat from the tree of life.

And as for the adults who can be accountable for their decisions - they can count on Him.
