Ephesians 2:10 We are His work. He will mold us. He will keep us. By His power not ours. He will heal our broken spirits and regenerate us to be new creations that are made for righteousness not sin. Perseverance of the Saints/ Eternal Security/ Once Saved Always Saved. 1. Man was/is unable to attain salvation by the doing of the law of God. Man is completely sinful in substance and ability. (Romans 3:9-23, Romans 5:6, Romans 11:29-32. Galatians 3:10-12, John 6:53, 1 John 1:8-10.) 2. Only those called of God can come to Jesus Christ. (John 6:44, John 6:65, John 13:48.) 3. Salvation from sin and punishment comes through the belief in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross on our behalf. (Galatians 3:13, Galatians 3:21-28, Romans 5:1-2, Romans 8:1-2, Romans 10:8-12.) 4. Salvation is eternal non-ending life with God. (John 3:16-18, John 3:36, John 6:40, John 6:48-51, John 8:51, John 10:27-30, John 11:24-26.) 5. Salvation/eternal life with God is a FREE Gift given to believers from God. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 5:15, Romans 6:23, Romans 11:29, 2 Corinthians 9:15. 6. The effect of salvation (eternal life) is immediate upon belief. (John 8:51, John 6:47, John 5:24, 1 John 5:11-13, 1 John 3:1-2, 1 John 3:14.) 7. When we accept Christ we are born again out of incorruptible imperishable seed. (1 Peter 1:23, John 1:12-13, 1 John 3:9.) 8. When we are born again we become a new creation. God abides within us and our new self wants to please God more than our old nature wants to please the flesh. What will send you to hell is thinking you can do it. And yes you, like anyone else, can quote a verse but can you defend it.
