However did you know that in the Book of Revelation, God uses 330 references to the figures, shadows, symbols, types, patterns, persons & buildings found in the Old Testament? Why? To reveal to us the Lord Jesus Christ in all His glory. How would we known of heavenly splendour except that God would use His creation as a help for us to explain them. God`s interpretations are in His word & it is therefore, as we well know, not up to us to interpret them ourselves. So.... The Lord is holding the `7 stars.` Did He not make them & all the other celestial bodies. Does He not control them all. What a wonderful, clear, picture that is of the Lord not only administering & upholding `by the word of His power,` the universe, but also administering & upholding the Body of Christ. And nowhere in scripture is the interpretation of `pastors` being over the Body of Christ. The power & control, so called Pastors exhibit over people in man`s organisations is of the world system.
