The Bible you read represent the God you worship. Fallible book means fallible God if the Bible is not absolute it's absolete. YOU DONT UNDERSTAND KJV BECAUSE THE NATURAL MAN CAN'T RECEIVE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT. What is the perfect word of God DONT TELL ME THERE ISNT ONE. A PERFECT GOD MUST HAVE A PERFECT BOOK KJV 44 Acts 28:26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: 44 Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Even though I come from an English speaking country that speaks and writes UK English not USA English (which has different spellings) I still do not understand the older English of the KJV. If I was to read the KJV I would likely misinterpret some of the older English language and get the wrong meaning from it.
