Cameron is going ( despite him saying he would stay no matter what the vote )

Typical politician, lying through his teeth at every turn.

I do not blame the people of Scotland and Ireland for being upset.

That's just their ancient animosities with England coming through.  If England had nothing to gain from the EU, neither did they. In fact there is not a single country that actually benefited from the European Union (which was a farce to begin with).  And the Muslim Migrant Invasion just made it all worse.

Each of those countries should be able to choose for themselves if they want to be in the EU.  London telling them they cannot is no better than the EU meddling in their affairs.  It is not for you, I or London to decide the fate of any other country.

If that was true, why didn't Scotland vote overwhelmingly to leave the U.K. back in 2014?

Even groundskeeper Willie was disappointed.

Well the fact of the matter is that the United Kingdom is exactly that. Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales are a part of a legal existing entity (no matter what their ancient history might be).

Just as the UK has the right to leave the EU, those countrie should be able to choose to leave the UK.

Scotland had a referendum vote for independence 2 years ago and the majority voted "No"

Self-interest. Which should now prevail.

You are comparing apples and oranges. But you haven't said exactly what the advantage is to any country to remain in the EU.

Apparently modern Scottish financial interests outweigh both "ancient animosities" and Mel Gibson's portrayal of William Wallace.
