The last prophet of the new testament was John who wrote revelations.  After this one, no more prophets or writings are given to us.  Nothing can be added or taken away.  All God's prophets were made known to us and verified that they were of God in the scriptures.

Have you considered that the city "Babylon" is nuked by the 10 kings (NWO?) to bring about their order?  And that the false prophet condemns them and straightaway hijacks the buying / selling network they've set up and uses it for himself?  Just a thought, something I consider plausible.

The ten horns burning the whore with fire is a metaphor for desolating Jerusalem in that time. That's who the Babylon harlot represents, for the end of Rev.17 tells us the harlot is a "great city". That's where false Messiah is coming to place the "abomination of desolation" per the Book of Daniel.

The scene in Rev.18 with "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" is about the day of her destruction, which is about the "day of the Lord" timing when Jesus returns.

That phrase "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" is an exact repeat of the phrase in Isaiah 21 when historical Babylon fell.

Remember Rev.17, the ten kings only come to power when the beast king (little horn) comes to power, and they rule with him for "one hour", i.e., the "short space" that the beast king is to rule. That is the "short time" of Rev.12:12 when the "dragon" is cast down to this earth with his angels. It's the latter half of Daniel's symbolic "one week", 1260 days, the time of "great tribulation".

Per our Lord Jesus in Matt.24 and Mark 13, He said when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don't be troubled, for the end is not yet. That means the 'end' will appear as a time of NO WARS, a time of world peace. That aligns with the little horn and vile person coming in peacefully as written in Daniel.
