The nuns, the little sisters of mercy, gave us children a scapular to wear and they often times asked us if we had them on at school.

The Catholic Encyclopedia  lists 18 small scapulars approved by the Roman Church:

  1. The White Scapular of the Most Blessed Trinity (1193)
  2. The White Scapular of Our Lady of Ransom (1218)
  3. The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (1250)
  4. The Black Scapular of the Seven Sorrows of Mary (1255)
  5. The Blue Scapular of the Immaculate Conception
  6. The Red Scapular of the Most Precious Blood
  7. The Black Scapular of the Passion (1720)
  8. The Red Scapular of the Passion (1846)
  9. The Black Scapular of Help of the Sick (1860)
  10. The White Scapular of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (1877)
  11. The Blue and Black Scapular of St. Michael the Archangel (1880)
  12. The Scapular of St. Benedict (1882)
  13. The Scapular of the Holy Face (1885)
  14. The White Scapular of the Our Lady of Good Counsel (1893)
  15. The White Scapular of St. Joseph (1898)
  16. The White Scapular of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (1900)
  17. The Scapular of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (1901)
  18. The White Scapular of St. Dominic (1903)

Of all the types recognized by the Roman Church the best-known, and perhaps the most popular, is the Scapular of our lady of Mount Carmel,   sometimes referred to as the Brown Scapular from the color of its bands. The wearing of a devotional scapular has been viewed as a constant meditation by Bishop Leo De Goesbriand: "Wherever I am, whatever I am doing, Mary never sees me without seeing upon my body an evidence of my devotion to her."

Thank you brother for the list.  I started with the second one, Scapular of Our Lady of Ransom.   I didn't see any reference to Jesus there.  The reference to Bishop Leo De Goesbriand is interesting.  Sounds like he professes godlike devotion to Mary.  I don't believe Mary or Jesus would be happy with that.  In fact, I believe that's against the First Commandment.

The Popes still worship Mary.

A prayer to Mary offered up by the Catholic pontiff.  Many deny that Catholics pray to Mary.  Here is proof that not only do they pray to Mary, but the Pope, the head of Roman Catholicism, prays to a golden statue of Mary in direct violation of the second commandment. -Exodus 20:4-5

And the people also worship the Pope and also Mary, whilst denying that they do this?

The one thing we haven't touched on (well, I guess there's more than one thing) is the fact that a Roman Catholic store is selling relics purportedly of saints.  They freely admit they don't know for sure if they are true relics or fakes.  Even if they are legit, is the "Church" so poor they must resort to selling relics, like they previously sold indulgences?  Why should anyone worship relics when we have the Holy Spirit inside of us as a helper?  How would former Roman Catholic priest Martin Luther feel about this practice?

They even worship dead Popes;

1. The Pope pray in front of the corpse of a Pope, who died 700 years ago.

2. The skull is covered by a golden mask, when this abomination is paraded through the streets.

3. The golden mask is removed, when the golden idol is displayed inside this Vatican approved and blessed "Church".

4. A "Church" that would fit perfectly in a horror movie. The golden statue is placed at the center of the room for prayer and worship.

5. A horrible display of paganism, presented as "Christianity" by the Catholic Church.

6. Skeletons of former Popes presented as "Holy bones". The Pope calls his faithful to adore them.

7. Catholic nuns prey and bow before the box filled with the bony remains of claimed saint Theresa.

8. A Catholic mass is offered at the alter with a corpse of a dead Pope inside the altar.

9. A dead Pope, kept for adoration and worship.
