But, it is a uphill battle, thats for sure. a christian can indeed choose to be a politician, and contrary to popular belief, you dont have to be dishonest to be a politician. With that said, it is very difficult in todays world to do it. Maybe Trump will make it easier....maybe not. time will tell.

The more a christian goes in to politics, the more that christian becomes contaminated and unchristian.

Sure the temptation is there, but its not a garentee that they will. Politics is not a specifically christian or unchristian job. Whether they let the world corrupt them or not is dependent on their faith and steadfastness.

Not if that Christian politician has made it clear that he will do his utmost to get rid of all the evil laws and policies which have been put in place. Politicians are generally more fearful of losing there powers and privileges that they are committed to righting wrongs. But even a lone voice can make a huge difference. They were Christians who wanted a free, God led government. The Declaration of Independance was signed mostly by believers. I feel my calling one day is to politics. As believers we have an obligation to do our part in spreading the gospel and making sure that God stays the focus of things. We've all seen what ungodly politicians can do to a nation. I'd strongly advise you to prayerfully rethink your position. I have also read the comment that a Christian would be corrupted by the sins of politicians if they entered politics. If the have on the full armor of God Ephesians 6:10-18 they are protected. How can we expect for our nation to ever return to God if it's run by nonbelievers? Going into it if I am to be blunt is like you willingly to entangle yourself. You think all your would-be political colleagues are christian that have godly nature as you? Have you ever thought if they have added occultism to it this day? Have you ever considered the evil initiation and convenant part of it? Or what you are thinking innocently is politics that you are just reading in books? Even to get to some higher positions in public places, you have to be watchful and careful otherwise you would have been initiated before you realised what you are into. I heard about a university professor who was called to hold a strong public post. Upon hearing the conditions attached to it, not academic requirements please; nobody told him before he rejected the offer. So, what are we now saying?
