Both Christmas and Easter can be celebrated. Neither are pagan. They are the birth and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It can all be looked up, when use of search button. So how can we still celebrate? How to fit that in with the knowledge? Guest
We do at my house. The way Christmas is done today it is a secular holiday for the most part, so we don't sweat over such things as trees etc. In America Christmas is more about capitalism than Christianity. We do go to a candlelight service on Christmas eve. Otherwise, we try to follow Christ every day of the year, and that includes holidays.
Guest
As I said, Christmas to me is secular and has nothing to do with Christ the way I celebrate it, I celebrate it as a national holiday. We do attend candlelight service because it is fellowship with fellow believers. We follow Christ every day of the year.

Perhaps celebrating the 'Rose Bowl" and other sports events are something a Christian should be asking themselves ;-). Peace mark

Jesus was not a Catholic and Christmas does not point to Christ, but rather Christmas is for one thing lying about Christ. Now if someone wants to genuinely celebrate the birth of Christ, to were it has nothing to do with Christmas, then fine. But otherwise just listen to God in not learning the ways of the heathen, and not being conformed to this world. Thats right..how will Jesus view it. When now christmas and easter eggs(not to confuse with passover) are full of the pagan symbols that every pagan can tell you about! Whats then the difference, between having occult things and occult/pagan stuff with christmas and so forth? Can there be any difference??

Its not a historical secret, either that they let the pagans keep their traditions to turn to Christ. But, The Lord say only those, that do my will...
