But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens wil pass away with a great noise, and the ELEMENTS WILL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT;

BOTH THE EARTH AND THE WORKS THAT ARE IN IT WILL BE BURNED UP.

2 Peter 3:10. 

When Jesus comes back there will be four groups of people on the earth.

The saved and unsaved who are alive and the saved in their graves and the unsaved in their graves.

The saved who are asleep in the Lord will be taken up first, followed by the saved who are still alive after the tribulation period.  This occurs at the seventh trumpet.

This is the first resurrection. 

The unsaved are still here on earth, along with the unsaved in their graves.

At this point, because they did not repent of their sins, God pours out His wrath, consisting of the bowl judgments.  During the bowl judgements Satan will gather together all the people here on the earth to Armageddon, for one last battle against the Lord.    At this point they will all be destroyed.  Everything on the earth will be desolate, destroyed, nothing will be left.  Except for Satan.

He will be bound to the earth for 1,000 years.  He is given time to admire his government and leadership.  He gets to prowl the earth and admire his kingdom for 1,000 years.

During this 1,000 years, all believers are in heaven with the Lord.  We get all our questions answered, all mysteries revealed.  Think of it as a 1,000 yr. vacation.

At the end of 1,000 yrs. is the second resurrection.  Satan is loosened, and all his followers.  They go to the beloved city and attack God and His people.  Jesus will send fire down from heaven and they will be destroyed in an instant.  They will face the great white throne judgment.  They will be sent to the lake of fire for whatever time God has determined for them.

After they are punished, they will die;  For the wages of sin are death.  No one is going to burn for all eternity.

Then God will create a new heaven and a new earth.  All things will be made new.

So it seems to me the new heaven and the new earth will be populated by all believers.  Those that have died and are now asleep and those who survive the tribulation.

OK, little one. I call you that because your post seems to indicate a level of immaturity. Let's look at the verse you quoted.

Isaiah 34:4

All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; all their host shall fall down as the leaf falls from the vine, and as fruit falling from a fig tree.

Isaiah 34:8

For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

Isaiah 34 is talking about God's judgment on the nations; the land of Edom is mentioned, which are the Arab nations surrounding Israel. It seems they will be punished severely for persecuting God's people.

Let's look at Genesis 1.

14Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth", and it was so. Then God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness.

So we have the earth.

Above that we have the atmosphere - the air which surrounds the earth, different gases and such.

We have the heavens - stars, sun, moon.

Beyond that we have a solar system, planets, black holes.

Beyond that could be a whole different solar system, billions of stars, other planets.

Beyond that could be another planet with life, with it's own sun and moon, etc.

Scripture supports that the both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up, the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat.

2 Peter 3:13

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

So are saying that God cannot destroy this earth and this heaven because there is no other? Are you saying the saints will be here on earth because God can't take them to heaven, they will fall down? Are you saying you know where heaven is?

Please respond with scripture that supports your views.

You posted all the right scriptures you just haven't payed any attention to what they say. Like jeremiah 25 you didn't even notice that he was talking to those who think they are going to heaven. You can search the New testament and try to find one scripture that says you are going to heaven and you will not find it. The mystery of God is opened up in the new testament and it is exactly what is writen there is no longer anything hidden. It's not a code or a foriegn language that no one can speak.

This is the underlying message of Revelations. The numbers are staggering and we have to try and reach these people before it is to late.

I guess I would be a believer in Post-Trib (I'm not so sure what the term means)

But I differ somewhat as I believe that Christ will come back and take the righteous living to heaven with Him...also the dead in Christ will rise and reign with Christ in heaven for 1000 years.

Also when Christ comes back the wicked living at that time will see Him but will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming.

During this time...I believe that Satan is alone on the earth by himself for 1000 years.

Then Christ comes back with all his saints and sets his kingdom up on the earth. In which the wicked dead are brought back to life to see the kingdom...I believe they actually try to attack the city but God destroys them with fire from heaven...

He makes all things new and we reign with Christ on earth forever.

ok sorry about that . this is my first post well second. I do enjoy reading the posts and i felt the need to ask how you can say that you think the beast will hang out on earth for 1000 yrs. I don't get into quoting the bible and all i tend to break it down and deliver it thusly. remember there are 21 judgements the first of wich is the rapture then it gets bad the next six are doozies the earth quake is just the opening act. over the first 31/2 yrs after the rapture we will experience 10 judgements. And during this time the world will turn to one man from romania who seems to have all the answers. And I believe that his chief rival will be the pope that will replace this next one as he should be raptured. and the man that got passed over will be elected in a rushed election and thusly you have the first false anti christ. he will do alit to destroy religion as we knowit today. at some point during the 3rd yr the anti christ will sow his true colors and bye bye peace accord israel. then all hell will break loose the 4th-7th of the second trupmet judgements will pour out, along with the killing of the anti christ and his rising. at that point if any of us are still around then its really going to get sticky. the mark will definatly show us who is who. remember at this point there will be 2 sides and there will be no middle. Now coming toward the end of the reign and after millions of post tribbers have been killed there will be a gathering of believers referred to as the remnant. now i may be wrong but i believe that at this point if any of us make it to the gathering of gods people were in and thats it. thats at around yr 6. and for a yr the anti christ will lay seige to the earth save one protected place. now i cant say that i know for a fact that it will be Petra but hey its as good a spot as any as this is all just hope or guess based on a general faith in god. now after the battle of armageddon the big JC as i call him will gather all those still breathing and depending on where he ells you to stand on his left or right , it could be a bad day for most. for some reason i i think there will be alot less who enter the kingdom with christ. however christ will reign here on earth for 1000 yrs not in heaven. and the beast will be sent to the pit for that period. and after that he will be let loose for a time. and that will be the final judgment. now after that well i really don't care. what i care about making the first train the lord god sends for us as i hope and pray we all will be getting on that train.
