(Worthy News) - The Pentagon says a Navy carrier strike group is moving toward the western Pacific Ocean to provide a physical presence near the Korean Peninsula.

North Korea’s recent ballistic missile tests and continued pursuit of a nuclear program have raised tensions in the region, where U.S. Navy ships are a common presence and serve in part as a show of force.

The U.S. Pacific Command directed the carrier group to sail north to the western Pacific after departing Singapore on Saturday, according to a Navy news release. The carrier group includes the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, with support from several missile destroyers and missile cruisers. [ Source ]

what is a real shame is that North Korea has such potential if they just decided to join with the others in the area in business and live as neighbors...    even if they kept their communist government, just decided to live peacefully with everyone else....

Such wasted potential.

I would suggest it isn't the Korean people in the north but their insane leader that makes for the suffering there. Pray for our Navy and for those who would to seek Christ as they try to survive under Kim Jong-Un's domination, but shall be slaughtered for it if they dare make it known. :th_praying:

I do believe that has always been their problem.

Quite possibly so. And in stark contrast to the south.

IMO we are now in the most dangerous times since the 1960's before both us and the USSR realized no one can win a nuclear war. I don't think Kim Jong-un realizes this. He probably figures he can survive the war in a shelter somewhere. But what will be left when he finally comes out, nothing much. His whole Korean peninsula will be 1 gigantic burnt radioactive wasteland. He needs to see the old movie called "The Day After". They should dub it into his language and flood N. Korea with it. Somehow, someone has got to make him understand nuclear war will end almost all life. It will certainly put an end to the life of luxury he enjoys now.
