Same sex marriage is not in the sight of God, but in the site of Satan, to destroy God's plan of pro creation. breaking news Scottish church allows same-sex marriages June 9, 20174:51am Same-sex couples can now marry in some churches in Scotland after religious authorities agreed to change texts stating marriage is between a man and a woman, the first such move for a major Christian church in Britain. At the general synod of the Scottish Episcopal Church in Edinburgh, over two-thirds of each house of bishops, clergy and laity voted in favour of the change. Britain legalised same-sex marriage in 2014 but no major Christian church had so far allowed same-sex weddings. This opens the way for gay Christians from any Anglican Church to marry in Scotland - but puts the Scottish church at odds with the rest of the world's Anglican community. "This is a momentous step," David Chillingworth, head of the Scottish Episcopal Church, told the gathering after the vote. "By removing gender from our marriage canon, our church now affirms that a same-sex couple are not just married but are married in the sight of God." The approval of same-sex marriage by the church was praised by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights groups. "This step allows couples to celebrate their love within their faith and sends a really positive message to other LGBT people, both here and around the world," Colin Macfarlane, director of LGBT charity Stonewall Scotland, told the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Chillingworth said the ruling was not unanimous and no member of the clergy would be made to preside over same-sex weddings against their will. The Church of Scotland and the Roman Catholic Church opposed Britain's decision to allow same-sex marriages. Not because of intolerance but because of non compliance. People can have truth and not love, but we can not love without truth. Jesus came and told us the truth because He loves us. The Bible will be declared hate speech. Churches will be prosecuted or fined , as was tried already in Texas and Georgia, for ministering from the Bible and against homosexuality and homosexuals marriage. And the atheist zealot groups that want Christianity in particular banned, and have already petitioned the IRS to target churches and revoke their tax exempt status if any pastor speaks in any way concerning politics, will be the most active in the pursuit of outlawing our faith. As they are now attacking the faith as best they can. While leaving other religious alone for the most part. Those type will be enlisted as the policing agents when our faith is constrained by law. Because they're indifferent to religious freedom. And in fact, hard line opposed. Who better for the task? And yes, I believe Christians, actual Christians who cleave to the Bible, will have to hide as they do in China today. And this is the really sickening part of that projection. These members in these apostate churches that embrace sin by changing their canon, so as to trespass against God's word, will turn in to the authorities any actual Christians who secretly meet together if those apostates learn of them. Or where those meeting houses are. Because we will be in their minds the betrayers of the Gospel. The world church. Where sin is paraded and righteousness prosecuted.
