And they did like salt on everything. The salt on French toast, which seems odd to Americans, was no joke, they really did that. On the other hand they thought I was weird for telling them that pumpkin pie was good. They thought the idea of a squash pie sounded pretty yucky. Then I gave them some and they cannot wait to share it with Aussies back home, except that buying canned pumpkin pie filling, which is, did the states, apparently is a scarcity in Australia.
