He is using those who live in willful sin, to go around claiming they are Christian's. No. Christian's are a NEW CREATION IN CHRIST and apart from this world. We stand out different as light or salt of the earth because we don't do or act like others. This is an exmaple of Christ. But satan has "Christian's" clubbing and getting drunk, getting high, swearing left and right, fornicating, living together before marriage and much more. Then people hear them say they are Christian, and they look at their lifestyle and think to themselves that if this is what a Christian is, I don't want to be one. This is how satan has destroyed the Christian Title by having these "Christian's" who know OF God but don't KNOW God because they don't belong to him. So they are misrepresenting God and Faith. A Christian is not a title or religion. It's your NEW identity in Christ. Jesus is a relationship of FREE will. Not a religion used to control and divide people's Faith. Know them by their fruits and their walk. God bless

So they learn more slowly than those who are laid down the law in holiness churches. But they do learn. So we forbear one another in love. Blessings, Willa Since you seem to be a Christian, have you introduced yourself and posted several times in the Worthy welcome section, where we are welcomed by others and are freed to use the areas for believers after being approved by staff? These "Christian's" who live in willful sin need to wake up soon, because Judgement day will come and Jesus will say you were neither hot nor cold so I will spew thee out of my mouth. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want that to happen to me.

God bless The first use of the word Christian in the Bible was not meant as a compliment- it was used by people who were not followers of the Messiah who most likely hated those who preached the gospel of Christ. It was used like an insult. Just as not all who call themselves "Christian" are followers, then true followers don't really "have to" call themselves "Christian.". You can say, I'm a " believer," "a child of God," or "Jesus' brother(sister)." Since there is no directive in Scripture requiring us to call ourselves "Christian," you can set yourself apart from those who use that title loosely and find your own way to identify yourself in a way that honors God and shows the world who YOU are in Him. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, dispisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. (2 Timothy 3:1-5a) This is speaking of people who profess to be Christians. The church has tried to make it easy to be a Christian. Accepting Jesus as Savior for heaven, without a desire to be free from sin in this world, has left people confused. The Holy Spirit gives us the desire to be free, and the power to be free. We still sin, but true Christians don't practice sin to try to improve their ability to sin. They feel mortified when they sin because their greatest desire is to become more Chris-like, and less fleshly. Having said that, only God knows somebody else's heart. Only he knows if they are trying and desiring to be better, and put themselves under the control of the Spirit (but are weak), or if they just don't care (and may not be truly saved), or what. God judges the heart. We just should be concerned that our own heart be as pure through living righteously and confessing and repenting when we err -- and we should present the hope of Jesus to others, to let the Holy Spirit work on their lives. The rest is God's department.
