Would not God keep his child from being lost forever ? GOD can bring that child home through his power.

Several mixed questions there. First, WHO SAYS that the natural man cannot comprehend spiritual things ? If I told you that, it must be in Scripture, so Yahweh must have said it in HIS WORD. (it did not originate from me) (in fact, it's a quote from Scripture, in english meaning as close to the original meaning as possible here, for now. ) Second, what is free will for ? Probably for many reasons. One most often repeated one is that God doesn't want robots. Second may be so men can make a choice when God Presents them with a choice and tells them to CHOOSE. Yes, it is in scripture, the natural man considers the gospel to be foolishness. 1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. When God tells them to choose is He drawing or enabling them to choose.

That's not much of a refute. That means nothing. He who began a good work in you will finish it. So if God begins a good work and the person falls away then God did not finish it. God will always finish his work in us.
