Well, I just experienced another "almost" crisis of faith.

Why not bring forth an example?

If you want to talk about them?

Here's one: https://bible.org/article/time-jesus-death-and-inerrancy-harmonization-plausible

However, my response to the whole thing is nowhere near as complex as everyone is suggesting on that site. My response is, basically, the answer to the question in my sig.

Why do you believe Christianity is a human sacrifice religion ?

Do you believe the LORD Jesus Christ was a mere human ?  Or was He God manifested in the flesh ?

I believe Jesus had an earthly mother, and is fully man, and I believe that God is his Father, and he is fully God.

Was the Blood of the animal sacrafices a symbol for something else?

Or was it pointing to the actual shed blood of the Lord Jesus paying the price for our sin?

Isaiah 53: KJV

10 "¶ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. {11} He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities."

The Bible tells us the blood of animals was both temporary (had to keep being done periodically) and incomplete, in that it only erased some physical sins... didn't change hearts nor grant Salvation.

This is Biblically accurate.

Well, what you have done is frightened some people who automatically think it is somehow blasphemy to say that Jesus was made a man so that He could be a sacrifice for us.

From the site::

Quote

The differences in the gospel record on the time of Jesus’ crucifixion have long been an enigma to Bible scholars. Mark 15:25 reads that Jesus was crucified at the third hour. Under a Jewish or common reckoning time system, which started the day at sunrise, Jesus was crucified at about nine in the morning. However, in the Gospel of John, John writes that Jesus was at his final trial before Pilate at “about (ὡς)” the sixth hour (John 19:14). If John was using the same time reckoning system as Mark, Jesus was not yet on the cross around noontime that day.

Simple answer The Gospel of Mark was using a different system of time to the Gospel of John..  Mark was using the gentile system ( the day starting at sunrise ) while John was using the Biblical Jewish system where the Jewish day starts at sunset.. So John states that the trial of Jesus before Pilate was at 12:00 midnight 6 hours after sunset, while Mark states that the execution of Jesus started at 9.00am, 3 hours after sunrise ..

So was Jesus made?  or was He eternally with God and was God?

When did Jesus come into existence ?

But to be sacrificed for us he had to be made a man.
