Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord (agreement) hath Christ with Belial? (a lawless, wicked one) or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? (A disbelieving heathen) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. When me and my spouse were set to be married the Pastor required that we meet with him three separate times prior . Each time delving a little deeper into both of our spiritual life in Jesus or lack thereof . If this pastor had even the slightest inkling that either of us were insincere in our professions of faith , I know for a fact he would have not conducted the ceremony . A very vital and valuable component where any young believer at risk of making a bad judgement is concerned .
