In Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8-10 Paul mentions redemption as something you cannot take credit for because faith is God's gift to you. Redemption was a major part of how the lord shows kindness and forgiveness towards those who have transgressed. This is something you are not to take credit for because God's love was a gift he gave to you when he created Heaven and Earth. In order to live right by faith we must love one another in order to fulfill God's holy promise. In Ecclesiastes the philosopher (David's son) mentions that God will judge everything we do in secret good or bad. The idea behind the philosophers point of view is that the things we do in secret that are good are things done when no one is watching. Serving the lord wholeheartedly means serving him through praise and repentance when speaking to the lord in private. A private intimate conversation with the lord allows him to hear you when you are struggling and provide an answer to your prayers. However, those who transgress against the lord in private the lord will not be lenient in his judgement on Judgement day. In the lord's eyes transgression is most prevalent when a sinner blasphemes God's holy name using profanity, or when a married woman commit's adultery in the eyes of the lord.
