If we don't deal with grief in the best way but hang on to the anger or depression without resolving them and moving forward, then it may spill over into other areas of our lives.  It was just 13 months ago that I lost my husband of 54 years but I was not angry at him or at God, but rejoiced that he is in God's presence.  There are still times that I miss him deeply but I am comforted by God's abiding presence.  Each experience with grief is different and each person is unique in the way we go through it.  Learning how to cope with challenges alone can be overwhelming sometimes.  You  are welcome to PM me if you need to talk about it.

Everyone gets offended in some way or another and I don't believe that, that is sin, but how we react to that offense determines whether we sin or not.  When I am offended by what someone says or does to me, although the offense can cut like a knife...the command for forgiveness comes to the forefront of my thinking almost immediately and from then on, I am making that decision every second, every minute, every hour and every day thereafter, until the offense in my heart is gone and I am able to live freely once again, having forgiven the person whom offended me.

Forgiveness is a decision, not a feeling!
