Proverbs 3:5-6 Amplified Bible (AMP)

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

[a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry,

It's right “don’t sin by letting anger control you.

Just imagine if we are driving the car without control, it can cause to accident.

On the same way, if anger will controls us.. it can leads to destruction.

Lesson: Self Control is important

Proverbs 25:28 Amplified Bible (AMP)
Like a city that is broken down and without walls [leaving it unprotected]
Is a man who has no self-control over his spirit [and sets himself up for trouble].

Jeremiah 8:1-2, 4, 6, 10, 11b, 12, 15b, 18 (NLT)

The Lord gave another message to Jeremiah. He said, Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.”

But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.

“O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.

but then that nation turns to evil and refuses to obey me, I will not bless it as I said I would.

So turn from your evil ways, each of you, and do what is right.’”

But the people replied, “Don’t waste your breath. We will continue to live as we want to, stubbornly following our own evil desires.

They have stumbled off the ancient highways and walk in muddy paths. ...

Then the people said, “Come on, let’s plot a way to stop Jeremiah. We have plenty of priests and wise men and prophets. We don’t need him to teach the word and give us advice and prophecies. Let’s spread rumors about him and ignore what he says.”

Romans3:13-15 parallel with Isaiah 52:7 and Romans 10:15

Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood:

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

2 Timothy 2:1-5 (NLT)

You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult timesFor people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacredThey will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is goodThey will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than GodThey will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
