Isa 55:11

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Yes.  And when these seeds (words) are sown, and watered, and blooms, then
seeds and is sown anew, again and again, there will be a great harvest.
Sowing the Word. A Good onya from the Lord.
Sow the good news
The best news

Third Day’s “YOU’RE EVERYWHERE” song must have been inspired by Isaiah 55.  Have you heard the song, Paul?  One of my favorite songs.

Like the rain that falls to the earth below
Watering the seed to grow
So it is with Your precious word, O Lord
It won't return until I know that

You're everywhere
You're everywhere

Like the wind that blows no one really knows
From where it comes or where it goes
So it is with Your Holy Spirit, Lord
Falling down on us to show that

(You're everywhere) Like the rain that's falling
(You're everywhere) Like the wind that's blowing
(You're everywhere) Like the sun upon my face
I feel the warmth in Your embrace
You are everywhere

My Lord, now I truly know
That I could never go from Your presence
My God, You are everywhere
From the lowest depths to the heavens
You're always there

(You're everywhere) Like the rain that's falling
(You're everywhere) Like the wind that's blowing
(You're everywhere) Like the sun upon my face
I feel the warmth in Your embrace
You are everywhere

Thank you for your input

I like listening to the Psalms

@PaulnotSaul

Greetings, PaulnotSaul.  I treasure these verses in Isaiah 55.  What an awesome Father we serve!  HalleluYAH!

6. Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: 7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 8. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. 9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. 10. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11. So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Verse 11 starts out with “So,” which certainly means that we should read the scriptures before this one so as to get the beautiful and true meaning of the awesomeness of God and how much He loves us!  His ways are (way) higher than ours!  Let’s read verse 10 again. Just think what blessings fall from the heavens to water the earth, which is “seed” to the sower and “bread” of life to the eater… God turns nothingness into bountiful harvest! (Lives are transformed!) God’s goodness is everywhere!

…and so it is like this that God’s word comes down from His throne. HalleluYAH and thank You, Lord!

…Selah:emot-heartbeat:

Amen yes i actually use 55:11

Ending my prayers to praise GOD that his word doesnt return empty especial confessing his scripture in return proclaiming his works throughout history

Thank you for sending that part of Isaiah

GOD BLESS

That verse is quite interesting, in as much as His word goes out, and it often does not accomplish salvation, but instead apparently, condemnation and judgment. Should we not conclude then, that this is what He sometimes desires it to accomplish?
