Against all the onslaught of all that would stand against. “not left me alone” meaning that regardless of what the situation might be, He is always with the believer who does the one qualifying thing that the scripture states; “always does His will” Wait! How can sinful man ever do all His will? What is His will to fallen man? “Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest” This is the will of God to fallen man, “come onto me.” So if we plug “come unto me” into the “I always do what pleases Him”, we have. “He never leaves me alone, because I always come unto Him” Such words of comfort when things go against what the life of self would have. Such words of comfort when the storms of life prevail on the believer’s heart. Such comfort of truth to the rest of the heart that would always come onto Jesus. Such words of comfort to know one is never left alone, even if all people think that you are. You never are, as one who is called by Him that has died for them. Blessings to all that have tasted of the reality of Christ in them their hope of glory. This is not a passage that is there to comfort us. Jesus is talking about his crucifixion, that God the Father is with him. We cannot Cherry pick verses or bits of verses to make up nice sounding sayings. We Must always take notice of the context. Let this be a lesson learned: "He never leaves me alone because I always come unto Him". 1 1

Thank you and blessings, once our sufficiency is in God all things pale by comparison. It is than our personal relationships with God will fill our hearts, than we can truly say; ”not my will, but Thine be done” Blessings, Much love in Christ, Not me

Much love in Christ, Not me While what you are saying is true you are supporting this truth on quote mining and on ignoring the context of the verse. That is a bad practise to adopt and is usually found in cults like the JW etc.
