"well, we KNOW evolution is true... the universe is billions and billions and billions of years old... the solar system ends her, no here, no here, no... here... no..." I noticed in a recent (actually 2014 but I saw it recently) TED talk where a "distinguished scholar" posed the question "Why are we here?" I'm not sure at all if TED is exactly like what I've seen on PBS. Probably not, but there's at least a dozen or so of them, and they dribble on and on for like hours. Usually they've also got a book or some kind of package of DVDs and a book to sell the public at large. If it's not TED, it sure sounds a lot like it.
