A biblical theology of worship will result in worship that changes the heart. The worshiper will have an ever greater desire to love and obey the Lord.

"Worship;
the act of attributing reverent honor and homage to God."

  Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a
living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--
this is your true and proper worship.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12, 1-2
Individuals worship.

*Credit to God's angry man,  Pastor Mean Gene Scott, who I watched and listened to often back in the day. He was a grand character that did in the midst of his antics share of an active faithing.

Hi, May I interject that I was run out of the friends Church at Brea Ca. by the intensity of the noise of the worship. My ears could not withstand it. Yet there were many hundreds if not a thousand or so having a grand time of worship to our Lord there, all at that decible level  of rock like glitz and lighting effects. There is also a church  of fellow believers at Brooksville Fl. that has pryotechnics as part  of it's worship. These are brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus, each that are saved are saved  by Christ alone, same as those that only sing a quiet refrain from  an older Presby. hymnal.

Wow

Some of the music that has truly moved me into worship has been Messianic music, written after that date.

Paul wilbur, ted pearce etc have wonderful music.

Let me also note that I do greatly appreciate the ministry service of John MacArthur, (I have a MacArthur study Bible) and especially his "lieutenant" Phil Johnson of pyrotechnic's blog and many debate formats, as well as the Shepherd's Seminary. My own home church of some 20 years was closely affiliated with them, many of our staff came out of that church. But we were independent and not a copy of it at all.

Are you worshiper ?

I most certainly desire to be. To behold the beauty of this God who has called us unto Himself.

This word “Worship”

The word itself gives pause to the heart to contemplate and try to look into the depths that are hidden in this word. The Worship of God. Such a thing to peer into. The awesomeness of the truths that are hidden in the scripture;

“God inhabits the praises of His people”

Oh to experience this truth in a ever increasing way, oh the glory, oh the glory.

Unto Him that is worthy of all praise be glory, honor, and strength for evermore.

Blessings to all that love the “Worship of God”

Much love in Christ, Not me
