If I were to write the questions for a poll to favor a certain view and agenda; it would be reflected in "how" I wrote the question(s), to favor a specific response. Then I would direct my poll and questions as non random as possible to a segment or class of people most likely to respond to my doctored questions. Anyone ever paid attention to how some of those questions are phrased and structured?

My idea of a fiscal liberal is: The want to do good, but with your money not theirs; thereby making everyone equal, equally poor: Therefor; diminishing your ability to provide for yourself and your family, and giving your labor to the politicians choice of beneficiary [socialism] for votes. Free bread and circuses; seems I've read a bunch of historians talk about that and what always results.

1 Timothy 5:8 (KJV) But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

This is an interesting subject. I've been watching the replies and I have another angle on the subject. I have noticed that Liberals in the US seem to have social beliefs that are more compassionate, so more in line with Christ's teaching on that matter. That said, I am of the belief that while most Christians have an opinion on politics, I don't like to get involved with coming down on one side or the other politically for this simple reason. In this polarized political environment, if I claim to be a liberal or a conservative, I've probably alienated half the country based on a political view and thus cut in half the people who might listen to what's really important, the Gospel of Christ. I don't want anyone, liberal or conservative, to be jaded to my testimony based on my political views.
