Greetings,

Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Revelation 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

So she sits on many waters reigning over seven mountains. Seven represents completeness or fulness. Are you aware that there are 7 major continents in the world? So I believe these passages refer to the overall completeness or the epitomy of that universal entity that is full of every sin and evil that even now pervades the whole world.

We are told that God calls His people "out of Babylon" so as not to partake of her sins and the judgment which is soon to follow. So this "mysterious" Babylon is much like the Babel of ancient times when the whole world was in one mind and purpose, and today we see that same kind of thinking. Man has made himself a God and as with Babel, when they set their mind to the one purpose, there is nothing that is impossible for them. But God would not allow that, and I don't believe He is going to allow it now.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I really couldn't agree more. We need to be Kadosh (set apart/holy), and not partake in the traditions of man, but those of the Almighty!

Cool! So, you are saying that the "Mystery Babylon" is not an actual place, but rather an attitude of the heart? And, this is world-wide? Babylon is thus an imagry of an unchristian world? So, when we see the fall of Babylon, this is God's judgment against all who have not called on the name of Jesus? Is this what you are saying?

Greetings Christ's Free Servant,

In God's view, there are ONLY two Kingdoms on this earth. His and the "earthly kingdoms", aka "the world".

So I wouldn't go so far as to say Babylon is an attitude of the heart, for the world is a real physical place, and God is and will be calling Christians "out of it", so as not to partake of their sins or to receive the judgment which will soon follow.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

So, you think that Babylon is this "earthly kingdom"? AKA = the world? That could be. God gave me many visions of his coming judgments on the earth, and since the USA is the only place I know, that is what I pictured, but I sensed that this was world-wide. So, then, could the 1/3 of the earth that is spared be scattered throughout the earth and not in one specific place? What do you think?

People get ready, Jesus is coming, soon we'll be going home...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I love Crystal Lewis!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The Lord woke me up early the morning of November 29th with that song going through my head like it was a wake-up call and that I was to tell people. I sensed an urgency to get out the word that Christ's return is soon and that people need to get ready for his return. That is what eventually landed me on this website.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Praise the Lord, CFS! His return is soon as let's get ready!

I've seen Crystal Lewis live many times at Church and at Harvest Crusades. Quite a voice on that gal!

They also changed the 7th day Sabbath created by Jesus in the beginning to the 1st day of the week, Sunday, the weekly festival to the 'Sun God'.

An interesting thing to note...

When did the early disciples gather together?

Act 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

When did Paul say the collection was to be taken?

1Co 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

1Co 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Agreed. Let's leave it where it is.

I only addressed it because it was brought up as a condition of Babylon. So, it was relevant according to the topic, but I can see how it will easily spiral out of control.

Yes, because there has to be a people that survive from many if not all the "nations" to come against the "camp of the saints" at the end of the 1,000 years in the following:

Rev 20:7-9 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I don't believe any wicked survive because the verses you quoted were after the second resurrection. If you look back in verses 4 & 5 it says:

4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

If the God's people leave to go to heaven with him, I don't think that the wicked from all the nations will still be roaming around the earth for a thousand years.(since verse 3 says Satan won't have anyone to tempt.)

Actually we come back with Him and reign with Him for the 1,000 years here on earth not in heaven.

Those who have not been born again and have been spared by God from His wrath, will participate in the millinial blessings.

After the 1,000 years satan will be released from the abyss and it is these that he will gather together and wage war against Jesus and His saints as DadE has pointed out. These are the ones who have not been born again.

Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,

8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

9 And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.

10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

By the way, there will still be those who sin by those who are not of the Kingdom during this 1,000 year reign, but it will be dealt with immediatly. Which shows that man has a sin nature with or without the devils deception. They will not be able to put the blame on him for their makeup because he will be imprisoned.

Mankind has not been thrown into the lake of fire at this point, only the devil, the false prophet and the beast have. I am not even sure if the rebellious angels or demons have been condemned to the lake until the judgement. It really doesnt say as far as I have seen.

It is after these 1,000 years that the Great White Throne judgements takes place.

Rev 20:11Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is )the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.

14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire

15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

.(since verse 3 says Satan won't have anyone to tempt.)

Where does it say this? I am not sure what you mean.
