I think it's more than just that, but even so...He is calling to His own to come out. I personally think the Catholic hierarchy fits too...but it's not the only religious institution that likes to play footsie with the world Yep I agree. I don't claim to have any special insight, just try and put the pieces together in my little noggin.

I disagree with that. Every letter, word, number, jot and title has meaning. Jesus quoted Isaiah and it ended in a comma, that comma has now lasted about 2,000 years. I've been amazed at just how detailed ... and perfectly He communicates

Matthew 251-4 1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. From reading, it seems to me that they all had oil to start out with. But the wise virgins took extra oil in their vessels "with their lamps." So, not only did they have oil in their lamps, but had enough in their vessels to keep their fire burning should the oil get low in their lamps. Yes they did. Many times oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit in the Bible. If this oil is representative of the Holy Spirit, they all started out with it. What happened? Like I mentioned, they appear to all be outside of the place of the wedding originally, the five wise virgins were invited in. The bride and bridegroom appear to be already in the house. Whom are these ten virgins, and what does a virgin signify in this case?

What man marries His own Body? Gen 2:23-24 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Eph 5:30-32 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Virgins in scripture is often talking about women who are betrothed (as binding as marriage in the culture of ancient Israel) but who have not yet formalized and consummated the marriage. I believe that is the imagery of the parable of the ten virgins...implying that they are all betrothed....and awaiting the Bridegroom to come and marry "them" (the many-membered church).
