God will replace the consumed fruit won't He ? This is an emergency measure to help those with hunger. God own the land and God grow the trees, people who own that only borrowed from God actually. Deut 23:24 When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. 25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the bears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn. ALL THROUGH OUT THE LAND FARMERS MUST SPARE THEIR CROP AT THE HARVEST MONTH FOR THE POOR AND STRANGERS. Levi 19:9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. 10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God. AT THE SEVENTH YEAR OF HARVEST, THE FRUIT SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE POOR. Exo 23:10 And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof 11. But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard. AT THE END OF THE THIRD YEAR, THE TITHE OF OF THE WHOLE LAND SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE NEEDY Deut 14:28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest. RESPONSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE TO HELP THE NEEDY : Levi 25:35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee. EVERY SEVEN YEARS ALL DEBTS ARE TO BE RELEASED Deut 15: 1 At the end of every aseven years thou shalt make a release. 2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord’s release. 3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release; GOD DOESNT WANT TO SEE POVERTY IN THE PROMISED LAND Deut 15:4aSave when there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it: THIS VERY BEAUTIFUL PROVISION OF ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVA, I BELIEVE SHOULD BE FOLLOWED BY ALL NATIONS IN THE COMING MILLENNIUM OF JESUS CHRIST. Christ earthly kingdom shall be better than Kings Solomon's peaceful reign or David rightness reign . Justice and a rightlessness will prevail through out all world. God will indeed plead the cause of the poor The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them” (vv 21-23).
