Im told that the sacrifice was just for unintntional sin.  If that is true, did Yeshua just die for unintentional sins as like the sacrificial system?

Jesus, on the Cross, became the sin of the world.  This is why John 3:16 is a universal application....."for God so LOVED THE WORLD".........notice it does not say...."for God so loved only those who will believe in Yeshua".

So, salvation, is a universal - worldwide offer of Redemption.......Its a free gift of God's Amazing Grace to the world, whereby Jesus has already taken upon Himself the sin of the world, 2000+ yrs ago.

Salvation, has already occurred, even if noone was ever saved, .... As Salvation IS what was accomplished 2000 yrs ago by the Sacrifice and Death and Resurrection of Jesus on the Cross and beyond the tomb.

Being BORN AGAIN, means that this Salvation that was offered to the World, 2000+ years ago, is APPLIED to everyone who will take it...   Its waiting for 2000+ yrs to be given as a FREE GIFT of RIGHTEOUSNESS< to "all who would come"..     Its an eternal Redemption thru the Blood of Jesus that is always there, waiting for whomever will... "believe on the Lord Jesus and be SAVED"..  To BE SAVED, means you have received by Faith what Christ provided to the world, 2000+ yrs ago, and in doing so, God gives you the NEW BIRTH.

Here is an analogy.    Lets say sin is a Virus that everyone is born with.   So, 2000+ years ago, God hung on a Cross as the CURE, as the eternal VACCINE for this virus of death. (sin).      So, If you go to that Cross, and believe the Gospel, then God takes your faith, and in return gives you the BLOOD OF CHRIST IN THAT SYRINGE (Cross) that heals your sin virus for ETERNITY.

So, your sin, was that VIRUS, and God's Blood is the vaccine that has CURED YOU for ETERNITY.

blessings,

B

No, Jesus died for all sin, with the possible exception of blasphemy against the Spirit (Matt 12:31).
