The title immediately caused red flags of danger to spring up in my spirit! I know personally of a TOUCHSTONE here on the island of Tahiti, I've been driving by it for for 25 years, ...even built a house for the family who were living in the house where it's located until I finished their new house. The man told me about tourists, from all over the world, ...would come and knock on his door and ask him if they could look around in his front yard, ...he gave them permission, ...they would go directly to the place where it was hidden in the bushes, ...some would lay their hands on it, others would stretch out their arms with their hands open and stretched upwards, ...and some would hug it... When he asked them why were they doing that, ...they all replied, ...for the "power!" One of the most popular tourist attractions is to follow a shaman walking 20 feet over a bed of red hot coals, ...he too was a regular visitor to the stone, ...he was one that would hug and lay on the stone for an hour or more! As born again, spirit filled, children of God, ...the Holy Spirit has warned us... Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. Deu 7:26 Any and ALL "touchstones" are a material, physical object that we can bring into our home, ...trinkets, ...like the shaman sells to the tourists to "remember" their experience with the demonic dark side, ...small stones wrapped in cord that have been taken from the "marae," where he worships the devil! What is a "touch" stone? It's a three dimensional object that the Holy Spirit calls an "abomination," ...which provides a point of contact for the demons to enter into the dimension we live in and, ......TOUCH......, us, ...not possess us, ...for He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, ...but "oppress" us... As God's children the Holy Spirit gives us "life" verses, ...a verse, ...when we read it, ...literally jumps off of the page and into our heart! And it speaks to us, ...it encourages, comforts, instructs, teaches, warns, guides us in our walk with our Lord, ...proving to us God's Word "is" alive! For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb 4:12 Stay away from touchstones, ...and ask Father to speak to you every time you open His Word, ...to feed you and give you wisdom how to glorify Him in your life... Amen......and amen.. ^^^^^^^^^^^^ SAINT......We don't need a "touchstone"......We the BORN AGAIN already have The CORNERSTONE....THE ROCK....WHO IS JESUS THE CHRIST .....Who is Living INSIDE US RIGHT NOW as our Resurrection and our ETERNAL LIFE.
