Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

Daniel 1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

Daniel 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

Daniel 1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
Syriac - Aramaic - The language that will be used from Chapter 2:4 - Chapter 7

Daniel 1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Daniel 1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah

Daniel 1:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abed-nego.

Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Daniel 1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

Daniel 1:11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

Daniel 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Daniel 1:13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

Daniel 1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Daniel 1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
Just as those who after their 10 day trial whom the Holy Spirit will have spoken through will be in better shape than they went in.
WATCH GODS ACTIONS THROUGH OUT THESE CHAPTERS AS THEY TELL OF THE PROTECTION WE WILL HAVE DURING THE TRIBULATION

Daniel 1:16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Daniel 1:18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

Daniel 1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah therefore stood they before the king.

Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

Daniel 1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
ONE of the few people named by God

Daniel 2:1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.

Daniel 2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

Daniel 2:3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

Daniel 2:4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.

Daniel 2:5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.

Daniel 2:6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.

Daniel 2:7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.

Daniel 2:8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.

Daniel 2:9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.

Daniel 2:10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

Daniel 2:11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

Daniel 2:12 For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 2:13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.

Daniel 2:14 Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:

Daniel 2:15 He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

Daniel 2:16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.

Daniel 2:17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
looking to find truth?  commune with other Christians

Daniel 2:18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever for wisdom and might are His

Daniel 2:21 And He changeth the times and the seasons He removeth kings, and setteth up kings He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding

Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things He knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with Him.

Daniel 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.
Who will we be given up TO in the end times?  How does GOD PROTECT?  GOD GIVES US WHAT WE NEED

Daniel 2:24 Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.

Daniel 2:25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.

Daniel 2:26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?

Daniel 2:27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;

Daniel 2:28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

Daniel 2:29 As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter and He that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.

Daniel 2:30 But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.

Daniel 2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.

Daniel 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

Daniel 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

Daniel 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the WIND carried them away, that no place was found for them and the STONE that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

The wind-Holy Spirit

MOUNTAIN - KINGDOM

Daniel 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

Daniel 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

Daniel 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath He given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

Daniel 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

Daniel 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

Daniel 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

Daniel 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, THEY shall mingle themselves with the seed of men but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Last kingdom is a mix of those before it  AND shall be destroyed WHEN Gods kingdom set for ever

Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Bringing all those kingdoms together as one time, the end time.

Daniel 2:46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.

Daniel 2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

Daniel 2:48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 2:49 Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Daniel 3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
This image is JUST GOLD.  So this image is just a TYPE of what will be in that last kingdom.  All the other kingdoms must come to pass before the "image" spoken of in Rev is set up.

BUT WHAT ARE WE REALLY BEING TAUGHT ABOUT THE END TIMES?

HOW  GOD PROTECTS.
  AND THAT IS WHERE OUR EYES SHOULD FOCUS.

60, 6

Daniel 3:2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Daniel 3:3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellers, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Daniel 3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Daniel 3:5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet 1, flute 2, harp 3, sackbut 4, psaltery 5, dulcimer 6, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up
6

Daniel 3:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
6

Daniel 3:8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Daniel 3:9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

Daniel 3:10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image
6

Daniel 3:11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Daniel 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Daniel 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

Daniel 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Daniel 3:20 And he commanded the most MIGHTY men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.
SLEW WHO? THEM.  NOT US

Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellers, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
Yes, Tribulation is coming.  BUT WE have GODS PROTECTION.  AND CHRIST WITH US.

Daniel 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellers, being gathered together, saw these men, UPON WHOSE BODIES THE FIRE HAD NO POWER, NOR WAS AN HAIR ON THEIR HEAD SINGED,, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
Luke 21:18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.

Daniel 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent His angel, and DELIVERED HIS SERVANTS THAT TRUSED IN HIM, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

YIELDED THEIR BODIES.  THAT IS HOW GOD OPERATES.  WE GO THROUGH UNDER HIS PROTECTION.

Daniel 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.

Maybe explains why chart doesn't work for me

The fallen angels who did this bad deed came on to Mt Hermon during the days of Jared and were put away during the days of Enoch. So they were removed before the flood, and their offspring killed each other through wars as God put it into their heart.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 Peter 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

1 Peter 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Before the flood - all men had turned wicked.  They were not regarded as 'the sons of God'.  These were all the children of Cain and their generations, and the children of Adam through Seth who later became corrupted.  Only Enoch was righteous, who God chose as a great prophet for the people in those days, and with him was his son Methuseleh, and Methuseleh's son Lamech (Father of Noah).  Lamech was 113 years old when Enoch was taken up at age 365.

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude 1:8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

Jude 1:13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

This is a direct correlation with Enoch, who was asked by the Watchers to intercede for them with God. He did this and God did not relent. Yeshua visited the same fallen Holy ones to show them that while He was temporarily dead, He would again rise and they would still be there.

And the other corrupt holy ones that are addressed in Psalm 82 will also 'die like men'. These are responsible for the pantheons after Babel. The apostle to the gentiles told them God wanted them back now since the scattering was a punishment. 'rise up oh God and take back the nations' (Psalm 82). The word 'rise' is the same as used in 'resurrection'. God plays the long game, but always gets it right and on time!!

  I went looking and I can't find this.  Could you please give Bk Chp and  Vs?  Much appreciated.

Hi DeighAnn

From all the information shown in the Canon, I had already understood about these 'sons of God' and what they did, the same as you are perceiving from what little information we have been given.  I had received that foundation for many years already understanding what it was speaking about exactly, and all those verses I understood, I have posted on here during my conversations with others. So when I went back to this verse in the New Testament reading it again for the zillionth time;

Hebrews 11:5   By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

I got interested, thinking that maybe I better go back one day and read the Old Testament again, because I couldn't remember what Enoch's testimony was?  Then when coming to this scripture;

  Jude 1:14   And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

I thought, now I am definitately going to find where Enoch said this.  So I searched and searched the OT, and couldn't find.  This got me stumped?  Seeing as I was not a member of any church, nor had ever had ever been, but only had my two brethren to discuss the scriptures with, I asked them both.  The one brethren who had been teaching me since I was a young girl started searching the OT and couldn't find.  The other brother told me he had heard there was a book of Enoch floating about there somewhere which he today regrets telling me.  So, even being new to the internet in those days, the next day I looked it up online at work, and found this book of Enoch there.  I printed the whole thing out right there and then (3 copies), not realising how big this book was.  I rushed it over to my brethren and the three of us started reading together.  I couldn't understand it at first, the bits we were going through, and was suspicious because the writing style seemed different. It was old and the words they used were not part of my vocabulary, or the same of that in the OT.   I was a little deflated to tell you the truth, then the eldest brethren the next day called me and said that he had been reading the copy I gave to him and I'd better come over quick.  He acted like he had just found gold, so I went and we started to read together, and he explained things to me.  It's there in this book that started off like below, and I too realised that we had found gold, and this book was truly indeed the testimony of Enoch, written before the flood for a testimony, and it was Enoch's testimony - preserved through Noah to pass on to us today as a witness. Too large to be included in the Canon, and too complicated for those who fight against the truth to receive,  It has been kept back from the gentiles, and to not all Hebrews was this passed on to, but only to the elect of God has this been received - Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the prophets.  So in the end times, has been given and made available to those like me that question everything, and seek more of an explanation of things not spoken about much - but to the others, it is rubbish, and they trample it, like they have trampled the scriptures from the Canon.  So to them it is given to not receive nor understand, but to rebuke.  And I didn't want to go here again, because I have been here before, and the Canon lays the foundation and is proof of itself that this happened, and that is all I give them, but now you have asked and I have to give to you and watch this get rubbished again and torn to pieces like they did in the past.

[Chapter 6]

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.

[Chapter 7]

1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed 4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against 5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and 6 fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

When we talk about 'the canon' we are normally only talking about the Reformed Canon. There are many other books referred to in the NT. Yes even Enoch. There are over 300 allusions and re-quotes from 1st Enoch in the NT. Most are ignored except the Peter and Jude passages about the 'angels that sinned'. Then in true 'Sethite' misinformation manner these passages are disavowed. Funny that isn't it??

Check out the earlier versions of the Geneva, Tyndale and KJV scriptures. Also read what the second temple rabbis were writing and the church fathers. Some of the early writings were platonic and Greek-Roman influenced of course. Even the apostles referred to this as well in their epistles. It was their worldview and their time and place and contexts.

Hi DeighAnn

From all the information shown in the Canon, I had already understood about these 'sons of God' and what they did, the same as you are perceiving from what little information we have been given.  I had received that foundation for many years already understanding what it was speaking about exactly, and all those verses I understood, I have posted on here during my conversations with others. So when I went back to this verse in the New Testament reading it again for the zillionth time;

Hebrews 11:5   By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

I got interested, thinking that maybe I better go back one day and read the Old Testament again, because I couldn't remember what Enoch's testimony was?  Then when coming to this scripture;

First time ever seeing this and it makes me realize that all I need, truly is found right there in the Word as given to us by God.  I think I am extremely comfortable with taking things written on faith and faith alone as I believe the Word of God is perfect.  These details only confirm what I believe the Word to say and really makes me feel better about my "lack" of searching outside of it.

When I read things in the Bible that make me think things like "that can't be" I immediately put those feelings aside and remember

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

and just try to LISTEN to what I am being told. Then as I move forward accepting what is given, the deeper things are brought to light,  that without that acceptance in pure faith, never would.  I can understand how we get can stuck at a certain levels of understanding when we allow our own emotions and thoughts to dictate what Gods Word says.  I feel so blessed that I am able to take myself out of my way and follow His.  I would rather have my beliefs proven wrong many times over, than to teach anything falsely.

So thank you.  I have "wondered" before if I might be missing out on anything important and now feel extremely confident that Gods Word is giving me precisely what is needed and not venturing out from it has been a good decision for me personally.

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

I stand in faith of this statement even more than I did before, or is that like being a little pregnant?  IDK

Just thank you. Great way to start my day.  Loving the Lord, loving the WORD, loving all who do.  How blessed, how truly blessed we are.  Sitting here watching the sunrise, my heart singing praises to God.  Have a blessed day.

Did I receive from this, what you found in that?  I don't know but I do know my understanding didn't deepen from it so,  I JUST FEEL SO HAPPY  and solid on the path I am on.

2Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2Peter 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

2Peter 2:11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

2Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

2Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

2Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

2Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

2Peter 2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.

2Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

2Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

2Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

2Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

2Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

2Peter 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I am having an awakening to "vessels of destruction" I have never had before.  Where as usually these come upon me in a "blitz" (lack of a better word at the moment), this seems to be a slow unveiling over the past week.    WHAT A DAY.

Hi DeighAnn

You are welcome.  I forgot to mention, not only did I receive confirmation of this topic we are discussing with the 'sons of God' that I already understood from the Canon, but most importantly, I found my scripture that I could not find in the Canon;

 Jude 1:14   And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

And with that I was very glad!  Because that was my mission in the first place.

  Matthew 7:7   Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

I encountered the Book of Enoch for the first time in 1997 while I was staying with a community of believers in the countryside. The elder who preached the Gospel to me had a wonderful library our brother @Justin Adams would likely approve of: interlinear bibles... the only English LXX (Septuagint) in print I've come across... a complete set of the "Ante-Nicene Fathers" being writings attributed to early Christians from the time of the apostles until the 4th century (300 AD)... and much more.

I was his student and so our brother's library was open to me. I would sit "indian style" and read for hours on end forgetting about the passage of time. I had to pull myself upright because my legs were locked in position! As a result I'm familiar with apocryphal books which many have never heard of and are denounced by some who adhere to the reformed canon. We've lost much over the past 1900 years, a temporal line of demarcation I recognize as the time when the falling away started in earnest. Hatred of Jews starts cropping up among Christians after John, the last surviving apostle, disappears from the record.

What were the "Scriptures" to the Lord and the apostles? The LXX. The Book of Enoch was also widely known during their time.

Enoch shares something in common with another prophet of the Lord: Elijah. Both were taken from this earth by the Lord having never tasted the end of this flesh.

Enoch:

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:21-24 KJV)

Elijah:

And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. (2 Kings 2:9-11 KJV)

Sister, it is clear you have spent some time and effort in studying this topic.... and in the short term, I have learned this is certainly your way, and I appreciate your thoughts!

After reading your recent posts, I wanted to search for that perfect paper or study that would put into words my opinion and thoughts on this topic-in a manner I am not capable of doing.

 I did come across two interesting articles that discussed both sides and looked at their strengths and weaknesses. One article concluded the actors in this topic were “more likely” fallen men than fallen angels, but there was no definitive answer.

Without this “magic bullet”, I decided to stop and try again in the AM.

I decided I would most likely find very similar findings ...so I went back to the actual verses in Genesis 6:4 to 6:8... and although you most likely have them committed to memory, I have pasted them below. If I am on the same page as everyone, the “issue” is found in 6:4, where some confusing terms are used- Nephilim, sons of God and daughters of women (humans), and of course, their children.

If we look at the next 3 verses, we find that, as a result of this stated “issue”, God makes some very important decisions and shared His thoughts, namely:

a) in verse 5, He sees the wickedness of “the human race”, AND “the human heart”,

b) in verse 6, He speaks about His regretted making “human beings”,

c) in verse 7, He tells us He will wipe out from the face of the earth “the human race”.... that  “I have made”.

For me, I don’t think I would need to continue to search for “that magic bullet” in someone’s paper or scholarly article or even drill down to the book of Enoch.

For me, I believe God has already provided us His thoughts on this! God is telling us clearly how He is disappointed with the “human race” - those that He made (not those who some contend are a product of fallen angels and humans (those He did not create), and His decision to end all but 8 of the “human race”.

Personnally, I don’t have to look any further than His actual Words-and I don’t have to read into these Words any additional meaning- I think these verses tell us the identification of those He will destroy.

Well, I hope this makes sense to you and I look forward to your thoughts, Charlie.

The Nephilim(A) were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans(B) and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.(C)

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,(D) and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.(E)

The Lord regretted(F) that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth(G) the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.(H)

But Noah(I) found favor in the eyes of the Lord.(J)
