How weak I am, how utterly pathetic,

My life is a sham and probably heretic.

I have nothing to bring, no skills to offer,

Except feeding the moths and blessing the robber.

Guilt overwhelms me and I’m filled with dread,

Imagining being shown who I should’ve been instead.

Though within and without is the Creator's aesthetic,

How weak I am, how utterly pathetic.

2Co 12:9  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2Co 12:10  For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Blessed are you who hunger and thirst for righteousness for you will be filled.

Blessed are you who mourn now for you will be comforted.

Jesus came not for the well but for those who are sick; He came not for the righteous but for the unrighteous.

2 Cor. 5:16,17 (WEB)

16 Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.
17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
