The Genealogy of Adam does not give us an historical record of all the sons and daughters of Adam because they are not important in the story of redemption. We follow line of genealogy for one generation or two and then it is dropped because we want to center on the line that leads to Christ

The Lord God told the serpent: "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” (Genesis 3:14) We know that Jesus was descended from Eve and Mary actually birthed Him into the world. I would like to see the first conversation that Eve had with Mary.

What mere scribe could achieve such a thing. Love & Shalom

Because if so then 6,000 years would have come around 1996, which was supposedly when Christ should have returned?
